Praise for Dancing for Birth™ Classes!

**New Dancing for Birth™ Class ScheduleWednesdays 6:00-7:30pm and Saturdays 10:30-12:00 at The Orchard Prahran, above Prahran Health Foods at 201 Commercial Road.**

I’m thrilled to announce the launch of my Dancing for Birth™ group classes, encouraged by the tremendous feedback I’ve received from my private Dancing for Birth™ clients. A unique fusion of joyful dance and childbirth wisdom, these classes prepare body and mind for an active, empowered birth and a smoother transition to mothering, all in a sacred, supported space.

Some of the most encouraging praise I’ve received about my Dancing for Birth™ private classes has come from Krissy Nicholson, Humanitarian Life Coach (see below) and the acclaimed author of ‘Tsunami and the Single Girl’.  During Krissy’s pregnancy with her daughter, Grace, I had the pleasure of providing her with several customised Dancing for Birth™ classes and even created a half-day workshop for Krissy and her birth team.

Praise for Dancing for Birth™ Classes

I was honoured by the generous praise Krissy shared:  “ Dancing for Birth classes with Laura Lee were phenomenal and exceeded my expectations.  Not only did I learn fun dances and how to move with my baby, but the rituals, wisdom and meditations that glued the session together were beautiful.   Laura Lee has such a gracious, calm and confident presence.    She is a wise woman who generously shares her abundant knowledge on all things pregnancy and birth.   Her passion and commitment to women shine through everything she does. I learnt so much from Laura Lee and felt much more confident in my ability to birth my first baby.  If I did not already have an amazing birthing team, I would have happily chosen Laura Lee to be my doula.  In fact, she also facilitated a birthing preparation session with my birth team and she was the first person I called when I was in labour.   And yes, despite a 40-hour labour, I did dance through many hours of it – albeit not always to the beat .  Thank you, Laura Lee, for your generosity of spirit and your infinite wisdom.  I whole- heartedly recommend you to anyone.”  And thank you, Krissy, for such kind words!

Classes start 4 May on Wednesdays 6:00-7:30pm and Saturdays 10:30-12:00 at The Orchard Prahran, 201 Commercial Road. Please spread the word – classes are suitable for women from pre-conception, throughout pregnancy and into postpartum (with baby in a sling or carrier). Info and booking requests at lauralee@sistersupportdoula.com or through my Contact page.
